FIRST SEMESTER OCTOBER 6, TO MARCH 21, 2026.

October 6 – 10, 2025: Registration

October 13 – November 21, 2025: Lectures (6 weeks Lectures)

November 24 – 28, 2025: Quiz

December 1 – 19, 2025: Lectures (3 weeks lectures)

December 20, 2025 – January 4, 2026: Christmas Break

January 5 – February 13, 2026: Lectures (6 weeks Lectures)

February 14 – 21, 2026: Founder’s Day activities

February 23 – 27, 2026: Lectures (1 week lectures)

March 2 – 20, 2026: End of Semester Examinations

March 21 – April 6, 2026: Easter Break

SECOND SEMESTER APRIL 7^TH TO JULY 18^TH, 2026.

April 7 – May 30, 2026: Lectures (8 weeks of lectures)

June 1 – 5, 2026: Quiz

June 8– July 4, 2026: Lectures (5 weeks of lectures)

July 6 –July 18, 2026: End of Second Semester Examinations

July 19, 2026: end of 2025/2026 Academic year.

1. Accreditation Exercises by NUC and Professional Bodies.
2. Staff Development (Workshop for Principal Officers, Deans and Heads of Department; Workshop for entire Staff)
3. Students’ Orientations (General Orientations; Faculty and Departmental Orientations)
4. Founders’ Day Celebration
5. Matriculation Ceremony
6. Commissioning of the Library Building and Engineering Workshop

ADMINISTRATION

1. Introduction of Biometric attendance for staff
2. Staff Appraisals and Promotions

Deans of Faculty and Heads of Academic and Administrative Departments Must ensure compliance with these outlined programme of activities for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
