Civil Engineering

Brief History

Civil Engineering applies science, mathematics and engineering to the planning, design, construction and maintenance of infrastructure that supports modern society. The SUMAS five-year B.Eng. programme develops competence in structural, geotechnical, transportation, water-resources, environmental and construction engineering through classroom learning, design projects, laboratory and field work, workshop practice and supervised industrial training.
