Ugwu Chinagorom Laureta (Nee: Okanya) is a Lecturer in Biological Sciences Department, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, State University of Medical and Applied Sciences, Igbo-Eno. Enugu State. She graduated with BSc. Honours (Zoology) and MSc. (Zoology (Physiology)) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She obtained a Ph.D in Environmental Management and Control specializing in Eco-Physiology from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. She has extensive experience as a monitoring and evaluation officer, a teacher, an environmentalist and a researcher spanning over 10 years. Her current research encompasses areas of Phytomedicine, Toxicology, Zoology, Physiology, eco-physiology and Biodiversity. She teaches courses in the area of Biology, Zoology, Parasitology and Genetics.
