Dr. Elvis Emeka Ozoadibe

Elvis Emeka Ozoadibe is a chartered accountant and certified tax practitioner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) respectively. He obtained a B. Sc. in Accounting from Enugu State University of Science and Technology (2002, Nigeria); MBA in Management (2006, Nigeria); M.Sc. ; and Ph.D (2017,Nigeria),  all from University of Nigeria, Nsukka .

Dr. Ozoadibe began his career in the private sector where he rose to senior management positions as Head of Finance and General Manager. His private sector experience spans through various business start-up solutions, focusing on accounting, auditing, internal control and marketing.

Dr. Ozoadibe commenced his public sector career at the Bursary Department , University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Until his appointment as Bursar, he was Deputy Bursar at the University of Nigeria, where he served at various management positions and was a recipient of the prestigious University of Nigeria Excellence Performance Award for best administrative staff in 2017.

For the passion of teaching, Dr. Ozoadibe lectures at the Faculty of Vocational Technical Education, Department of Business Education (2012-date), where he lectures Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Financial Accounting. His research interest focuses on taxation and tax management, business feasibility studies, business survival and development, international grant management, and lately, natural capital accounting.

Dr. Ozoadibe, in his effort to contribute to solving developmental challenges facing Nigeria, engaged in implementing projects funded by World Bank (WB) (2008-2013 & 2019-2022), Agence Française de Développement (AFD) (2019-date), Lacuna Foundation (2020-2022) and several International Developmental Associations, where he served as Procurement Specialist and Financial Management Specialist.

Borne out of passion to making a difference in the society, Dr. Ozoadibe served as board member, resource person, for various not-for-profit and non-governmental agencies. Amongst the various non-governmental agencies associated with Dr. Ozoadibe, is the Aspire for Excellence Foundation and Kingdom Heritage Model School (KHMS) .

Dr. Ozoadibe is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Associate, Chartered Institute of Loans and Risk Management; and Professional Member, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. He served as the15th Zonal Chairman of the ICAN-Eastern Zonal Districts and on other ICAN national and zonal committees, such as the Technical, Research and Public Policy Committee (TRPPC), Mutual Cooperation Agreement with Tertiary Institutions (MCATI), Member of Technical Committee in the Eastern Zonal Accountants Conference and General Secretary of ICAN-Nsukka and District Society, and Assistant Zonal General Secretary.

Dr. Ozoadibe is married and blessed with very pleasant children.
