System modeling: Modeling of systems by algebraic, difference, ordinary differential equations, and partial differential equations. System simulation using analogue, hybrid and digital computers. System optimization using differential calculus, variational calculus, linear programming and dynamic programming. System behavior: categories of systems, behavior illustrated by the study of selected mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, industrial, transportation, economic, biological and social systems. System control. Decision analysis. Estimation of input values. Utility and value analysis. Multiple objectives and criteria. Production functions and marginal analysis. Econometrics. Evaluation of a public system.
