The ErbB receptor tyrosine and Signal transduction kinases, Ras/Raf/MEK/MAPK and PI3K/Akt/PTEN pathways, Apoptosis modulation and antisense ligodeoxynucleotides, tumor angiogenesis inhibition, Mechanisms of control of gene expression relevant to environmental sensing. Principles of “two-component” sensor-regulator systems and the way in which they act as signal transducers. Molecule targeting. Sensor and regulator mechanisms involved in oxygen sensing, chemotaxis and differentiation.
