Introductory Radiographic Procedure & Practical

Introduction to imaging modalities in medicine; emphasis on radiographic principles of image formations, factors affecting image quality, Radiation protection in the clinical setting. Appropriate technique presentation format; identification and preparation of patients for the radiographic examination of the upper extremities.  Projections e.g., PA- Postero-anterior, AP-Antero-posterior, and lateral in radiography. Use of radiographic accessories and terminologies. Sizes of Cassette, Use of anatomic marker. Radiographic techniques for fingers, thumb, hand, forearm, elbow and shoulder girdle.
