Forensic Biochemistry

Introduction to forensic biochemistry: history and nature of forensic science; crime scene and organization of crime laboratory; latent print, trace evidence; biological evidence and forensic serology; forensic DNA analysis: (mention should be made on sample collection of DNA, quality assurance and performance of optimization, DNA isolation, Assessment of extracted DNA and amplification, significance od a match and calculating statistics, paternity and identification); illicit drugs; forensic toxicology: toxicological specimen collection, transport, preparation, analysis and reporting of a number of body part form and most toxic agents; death investigation; Nigerian -crime court system and laws.
