Girl child education and status of women. Reproductive rights. Family resources, community resources and health services. The concept of change, crises intervention and therapeutic communication. Family-centered nursing care. “At risk” concept, health risks at different age groups. Family planning. Child health services. Family-centered care-clinic attendance, home visiting and referral. Infant feeding. Common childhood disease/infections. Integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI). Assessment of general danger sign. Follow up care for the sick child.
