Environmental Sciences

A lecture/discussion course on the external and internal environment of buildings. Natural elements (air, sun and water) are examined as they interact with human needs within buildings or building complexes. The control of environmental hazard outside buildings such as fire, noise, flood, air and water pollution, etc. Through lectures and assignments, the course equips the student with knowledge of illumination techniques and noise control in architectural design.
