An introductory course in Architecture stressing the architect’s role in the building industry, the essential characteristics and basic functions of architecture, The essential characteristics of Architecture and of the Architecture in various continents of the known world; goals, scope, tools, elements, drawings, models, photographs and various graphic communication media, reproduction equipment, machines and materials. General principles of architecture – architectural rhythm, anthropometrics, form, massing, silhouette and colour theory, Basic understanding of the relevance of inter-disciplinary courses in architecture.
