Client teaching/Counseling Practicum

This course is designed to expose the undergraduate nursing students to the teaching and counseling functions of a nurse. This will include observations of group and individual teaching and counseling sessions at formal (classroom) and informal (wards, clinics and community) settings. Evaluation could involve development of micro-teaching plan and conduct of micro-teaching session under supervision. Duration of practicum is 3 weeks.
