Concepts of elementary eyelep characteristics as the atmosphere source types and effects of environmental pollution. Composition of domestic waste. Waste disposal methods and recovery of by-products from waste materials. Pollution problems arising from the manufacturing processes. Impact of chemical products like DDT, detergents, plastics, antibiotics, etc. Water treatment; Water chemistry and analysis. Detection and monitoring of poisonous products and by-products in environment by chemical and physical instrumentation. Safety in the chemical industry.
