This course is an overview of building construction in a more complex outlook. Complex foundation details – preliminary investigation pad, stepped, raft foundation. Piling system, basement construction, shoring underpinning etc. upper floor, timber floor, steel floor, pre- cast unit. Roofing system for large spans – lattice girder, portal frame, shells etc. industrialization building system open, closed system dimensional co-ordination, jointing etc. structural steel work. Field trips.
