SUMAS INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION

INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION (2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION)

 

The State University of Medical and Applied Sciences, SUMAS, Igbo-Eno, Enugu State, invites applications for Inter-University transfer from students who are current students of other Universities and have not spent more than two academic sessions in their present University but wish to continue their academic pursuit in SUMAS.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking Inter-University transfer must:

1. Be a current student in a government recognized University.
2. Have passed all core courses in his/her current University with CGPA of not less than 4/5for Medicine and Surgery and Nursing Science and 3.5/5 for other programmes in their last academic year.
3. Possess the O/level requirements for the programme applied for as obtainable in SUMAS entry requirements.
4. Possess JAMB admission letter issued by JAMB as at the point of gaining admission into his/her current University.
5. Request his/her current University to send an advance electronic copy of his/her academic transcript to admissionofficer@sumas.edu.ngand copy registrar@sumas.edu.ng. The hard copy of the academic transcript should be addressed to The Registrar, State University of Medical and Applied Sciences, SUMAS, Igbo-Eno, Enugu State. No student will be considered for admission without SUMAS taking delivery of the official academic transcript from the student’s current University.
6. Candidates who failed their first professional examination (Second MBBS) examination in their current University need not apply
7. Candidates who meet up the above requirements in any Biological Science programme in their current University can be considered for admission into Doctor of Pharmacy and Nursing Science programmes.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Pay a non-refundable application fee of N100, 000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira)to the account details below:

2. Click on “INTER UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION FORM LINK”  Below  and complete the form attaching
   1. Evidence of payment of application fee
   2. Admission letter printed from JAMB CAPS as at the point of admission to your current institution
   3. O’Level result(s) (note that only a single sitting is accepted for Medicine and Surgery)

 

Application opens on Thursday 16^th of October, 2025 and closes on Thursday 30^th of October, 2025.
