At the 2024 spring conferment of decoration by the Japanese government during the weekend at Abuja. The able Vice Chancellor of the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences was honored with the prestigious award of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon. This recognition was as a result of his exceptional contributions to promoting academic exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and Nigeria in the field of agriculture.
