BIOGRAPHY

Amah Christian Chijioke; Lecturer II in Department of Biochemistry; State University of Medical and Applied Sciences Igbo-Eno; graduated Bsc Hnours (Applied Biochemistry) Enugu State University of Science and Technology & Msc (Pharmacological Biochemistry) University of Nigeria Nsukka. He obtained a PhD in Pharmacoloical and Toxicological Biochemist specializing in anti-diabetic properties of medicinal plants from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He has an extensive experience as an administrator; academic and research for 8 years; including in local and international universities; research institutes and centers. His research areas includes; phytochemicals; diabetes; malaria; inflammation; ulcer etc. His current research focuses on revalidating and finding scientific credence to the folkloric use of medicinal plants used in Africa. He teaches courses in areas of Biochemistry; Pharmacology; Medical Biochemistry. He is widely published in his core areas of research.
